‘Forgive them, for they know not what they do’
This line, uttered by Jesus before he died, begging forgiveness for the taunting, jeering crowds at his feet.
This my friend, clarified everything for me… when I realized that moment in time, roughly two thousand years ago, was to be repeated throughout history to this current time.
To explain, our Christ is the only righteous man to walk the earth, was a man free of sin, one who asked His Father in Heaven to forgive those crucifying Him. ‘Those who knew not what they were doing’, were the ‘ignorant’ who’s lack of intelligence and inability to ‘believe’ even after Jesus proved beyond doubt with miracle upon miracle, that He was the son of God.
The term ‘ignorant’ speaks of those displaying pride and the inability to function beyond what the majority of others are doing and saying. In other words ‘the sheep principal.’
We have exactly the same thing today, the vast majority of the population, are too ignorant to understand anything beyond their simple comprehension of worldly matters, this illustrates their lack of comprehension.
Looking at believers who in displaying faith, prove their belief in a thing that is bigger than them, bigger than life, a thing they are not meant to understand, not in a simple worldly way. To trust and be guided by our beliefs, our actions and free will, by a concept we cannot see, means we must exercise and expand our mind to accept and think in a realm we have never been taught, never been taught because we may upset the sensibilities of our close minded fellow man. This requires a higher level of understanding and willingness to open one’s eyes and heart. Those behind the walls and barriers, build to convince themselves they are safe and ultimately correct are simply cowards.
Now we will discuss this more fully, and in doing so break it down.
This will be an ongoing discussion, where I hope those taking part will gain perspective… or ask for forgiveness.
-‘Faith’ is simply defined as ‘belief in that which cannot be see.’
Now the prideful and ideological percentage of our fellow man, have argued to me that believing something you cannot see, is indicative of ignorance…
I reply, ‘to believe and definitively say, if what we see is the scope of everything, including the universe, time before and after, every aspect of infinity (these by the way are all things we can see, but very few understand.) How can we create in our mind another thing that we cannot see like a big bang, that might have created the universe and everything including the universe, time beginning and end, and again infinity…. Again, all things we cannot see except the big bang that supposedly created them lol, THAT is ignorant and hypocritical.
The ignorant often try to explain away their denial, by questioning… a higher concept with lower reasoning. For example, I hear all the time, ‘if there is a God why do children die.’ I simply shake my head and reply, why do you ask what is not yours to know. We are not to understand why God does what He does, but trust His will as He knows far more than anyone and anything that has existed, because He made everything that exists.
